It’s War: WikiLeaks vs. Bank of America

Dec. 20 (Bloomberg) — Paul Rosenzweig of the Heritage Foundation talks about Bank of America Corp.’s decision to stop processing transactions for the WikiLeaks website. WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, who told Forbes magazine that he’ll release documents from a US bank next year, said in 2009 that his group had a hard drive from a Bank of America executive. Rosenzweig talks with Erik Schatzker on Bloomberg Television’s “InsideTrack.”Copyright Bloomberg 2010 § 107.Limitations on exclusive rights: Fair use Notwithstanding the provisions of sections 106 and 106A, the fair use of a copyrighted work, including such use by reproduction in copies or phonorecords or by any other means specified by that section, for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching (including multiple copies for classroom use), scholarship, or research, is not an infringement of copyright. Hey they gave a pretty good idea here maybe there should be a release exposing the inner workings of our media and who they truly work for.

These people are lost…Wikileaks is just leading the charge! The anger didn’t originate with them. The big banks pilaged and plundered the pocket book of middle America, and they are just a little slow on the uptake! They need someone like Assange to lead the charge. History tells us these cycles occur, and then, one day everything seems to go back to “normal”.

  3. SIGN666 Says:

Mainstream media and Bloomberg work for the banks. The banks work for Wall St.

That;s a good one! 🙂 Not to mention, spread across the NET to thousands of other servers. 🙂

BofA should be preparing for bankruptcy and massive layoffs. Hopefully, a few executives get
taken down bigtime – REAL justice.

WikiLeaks is just the beginning of REAL news in this country.

Bank of America is just one of the many RATS who will finally fall as they should have long ago. They hold nearly 1/5 of the mortgages in the states, and they cannot (among other corrupt banks) rewrite the mortgages at market value because they would become insolvement – it’s just another accounting trick to make it appear they’re doing better, when in reality they are bankrupt.

More power to WikiLeaks . . . . bring em down.

  11. fal2grace Says:

@SouthernKudzu well that’s good that you have a credit union

  12. yourcamden Says:

If these bankers were doing nothing wrong then they would not be afraid of leaks. A case of cockroaches not wanting to be seen in the light of day. Clearly they do not understand how computers work, the documents would not have been removed from the banks they would just have been copied and shared in order to bring some honesty into the sphere of corruption and dirty deals.

  13. neurel111 Says:

Gigabytes never go missing, idiot. Data can be copied.

  14. SouthernKudzu Says:

Smartest thing I did recently was switch my checking from one the big names banks to a small local credit union. Unfortunately our mrtg is with B of A and that’s not as easy to change and keep our super low rate, but would to it in a heartbeat if I could.

You know everythng that Wikileaks is true when you see the Government and now Bank of America blow a fit over it! If the leaks where not true, the Government would not have went so nuts and even called for his assassination. The RICH and powerful just hate it when they are caught!

    Long Live Wikileaks!!

  17. Donninator1 Says:

    idiots…

the hard drives did not go missing, they were copied…

HOLY SHIT—> WAKE THE FUCK UP!

  18. gmcbuses Says:

Bank of America took bailout money, continued with foreclosures, big outrageous bonuses, during hard times. I”m enjoying every moment of Bank of
America getting egg on their faces.

  21. czubspenx Says:

Wikileaks is only the messenger. Why are people persecuting them? The US Government should be investigating B of A, BP and the Pan Am bomber release, Freddie and Fanny Mae, The Fed, etc.

  22. peapodsss Says:

@elucidative It sound kinda looney when you take the ‘anyone who disagrees with me is part of a conspiracy’ approach.

  23. dmhappy2777 Says:

I closed all my bank accounts and went to a credit union…Seemed like a good idea before wiki leaks ever mentioned it all it took for me was the dang bail outs to know I was not gonna be a part of there support any more.. like my pittance made a difference but it made me feel better!

  24. bulldogger Says:

“It seems the prospect of gigabytes of e-mail and other documents from financial institutions can be viewed one of two ways: as a treasure trove for regulators to scrutinize — or as an embarrassment for the United States government, which has spent millions of dollars investigating Wall Street in the last two years without a scalp to show for it.”

I’m not the type that gets a thrill from the thought of someone being scalped, but I have to say: SCALP THE FUCKER!! TAKE THAT SCALP!!! : D

  25. sarasan3 Says:

can’t wait to see what wikileaks has on BofA.
